We specialise in the discrete installation of retrofitted window Lintels. High tensile wires are inserted within diamond cut slots in the mortar bedjoints prior to repointing the wall.
Our lintel installations carry a 10 year warranty for your peace of mind.
Lateral restraint ties are used to stop walls bowing out from their original line. Ties are driven through the wall and deep into the web of the internal floor.
Loads from the bowing wall are dissipated into the stable diaphragm of the floor. Lateral restraint ties are a cost saving alternative to traditional patress plates.
We specialise in cavity wall tie survey and failed wall tie replacement.
Our retrofitted wall tie schemes are available with a 20 year insurance backed warranty.
We offer full survey, design, specification and installation of crack stitch repairs to current BRE standards.
We use dust suppressed cutting systems for all of our preparatory work, meaning working within the property is safe and dust kept to an absolute minimum.
Masonry beaming is used to support sections of building which are failing due localised overloading of the foundations or subsoil, or where failed drains have washed away the subsoil beneath the foundations. Reinforcement is fitted into the brickwork bed joints and repointed after installation .
Most bay windows are prone to cracking and movement associated with tree root induced shrinkage of the soils beneath the foundation or most commonly after traditional wooden timber frames have been replaced with UPVC.
We use retro fitted high tensile wires to restore the original integrity of the bay structure.
We have over 40 years experience of surveying and designing damp proofing solutions for all types of structures.
We use non solvent based silane pore blocking treatments for brickwork and electro osmotic DPCs for deep section stone walls.
We offer a full service from start to finish. Fully underwritten guarantees on completed work.
Correct identification of wood boring insects is essential to creating a treatment strategy, Our qualified surveyors have 40 years experience in indentifying and rectifying damage from wood boring insects.
Dry Rot is often misdiagnosed and confused with less damaging Brown and white rots, which require little more than removal of the source of decay and replacement of the defective timber.
Our qualified surveyors will correctly diagnose the species of rot before putting together a proposed remedial repair strategy and providing a quotation for remedial repairs.
Vertical movement joints are installed to relieve pressures in masonry panels caused by thermal expansion of brickwork panels. Lack of movement joints can lead to catastrophic failure of brickwork.
